About this Product Name:- Pumice Pack size:- 1 Litre bag Pumice is a porous grit with the ability to enhance the drainage characteristics of your Bonsai soil mix. Its key properties are those of good water retention combined with an essential ability to drain excess water from the soil. Pumice is both chemically and physically stable, meaning that it will not decay or break down in the soil, and neither will it alter the pH of the soil. This product can be used in a mixture of other soil ingredients depending on growing conditions and tree species. The inset picture below shows a seedling that has been germinated in Pumice, and it is quite easy to see the granules of Pumice penetrated by the very fine root structure being generated by this excellent growing medium.
